Counselling
A space to think out loud, without being rushed.
Counselling with me is collaborative and exploratory. You bring what is on your mind; I bring training, structure and a lot of attention. Together we look at it honestly.
What this is
Most people arrive not in crisis, but tired of carrying something alone. They know the shape of the problem and cannot see around it any more.
Sessions are a confidential, non-judgemental space to put that into words. We look at the patterns underneath it, and where it is useful, we work with practical tools for thoughts and emotions.
I will not tell you who to be, and I will not promise a particular outcome. What I can offer is careful attention, professional training and a steady place to think.

Areas we might explore
Things people often bring
This is not a diagnostic list and nothing here is a promise of a particular result. It is simply the kind of ground we often cover.
- Self-awareness and understanding your patterns
- Stress, pressure and feeling stretched thin
- Overthinking and difficulty making decisions
- Emotions that feel too big or too flat
- Relationships, boundaries and communication
- Life transitions, study and work pressure
- Low mood, worry and everyday anxiety
- Building a more sustainable pace of living
How it works
From first message to ongoing work
You send an enquiry
Share a little about what you would like support with and how you prefer to meet. Nothing is committed at this stage.
We find a time
I reply by email, answer your questions and we agree a first session that works for both of us.
First session
We slow down and look at what is actually happening — the context, the patterns and what you are hoping for.
Ongoing work
Sessions continue at a pace that suits you, with practical tools drawn from CBT and DBT where they help.
Counselling enquiry
Send me an enquiry
Fill in as much as feels comfortable. Your enquiry comes straight to me and I reply personally by email.
Please note
Counselling here is a supportive, exploratory service. It is not emergency or crisis treatment, not a medical service, and not a substitute for psychiatric care. If you are in immediate danger or distress, please contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away.
